ALOHA KĀKOU!

As we complete Ke Ala Polohiwa a Kanaloa (winter solstice) and welcome the sun back to our northern skies, we begin to prepare for the time of Kū.

This seminar series is not a historical lecture on oli or mele, nor a how-to guide. Instead, we will explore oli and mele as tools for reindigenizing the ways we empower ourselves and align with our intentions.

Designed especially with our diasporic Kanaka who may have limited exposure to mea Hawaiʻi in mind, this series provides inspiration from our moʻolelo to gather, learn, and craft your own ‘aha (ceremony) to bring your visions into reality for the year ahead.

Each session builds on the next, guiding you through reflection, preparation, and action to embody your purpose.

DAY 1: HAILI
Contemplation Complete: Reflecting on where we are and setting intentions for the year.

DAY 2: HOʻĀLA

DAY 3: HOʻOMAKA

DAY 4: HŌʻĀ
Activation: Bringing your intentions to life through deliberate action.
